Opening Day – Saturday, May 31st!

This season’s opening Market Day is this Saturday! Performn’t miss Farragut Farms, Wild Fern Medicinals, The Violet Sparrow, Karen Dillman’s fiber art, and more. Students will be selling plant starts from the community garden, and the Kid’s Table will feature seed planting in “upcycled” containers. Linda Bell will be offering fresh bread and soup, yum! At the ANB/ANS Hall from 10-1. See you there!

Rescheduled! Food Vendor Meeting

Are you interested in selling food at The Market this summer? Come on down to the library to hear about the basics of Alaska Cottage Food Production Rules and have your questions answered about whatever it is you want to sell – tamales, baked goods, pickles, etc. Shawn Ryan, from the Ketchikan DEC, will be there to answer your questions and get you started! Please share this information with anyone you know who might be interested.
